When I get around to FF IV it'll be on the PSP because of The Complete Collection (IV+The After Years), and that's also where I'm playing III at the moment. If I can snag the GBA versions of V and VI, that's how I'll play them, but the Pixel Remasters are readily available to me too.
It's funny we've been chatting about Dragon Quest, I actually found a copy of "Dragon Quest XI S Definitive Edition" on PS4 for $3 today! Later I'll probably play the DS games on my DSi with... ROMs. (insert dramatic thunder) But XI S should be a fun start!

True, but I think I could find it locally at a used game shop for not too much. Probably like 10$. Cause, yeah, it does seem to be pretty common. Endless Ocean might be a tad harder to find. But I always keep my eyes out cause you never know~

Oh gosh Final Fantasy II, that thing has been rotting in my backlog for a while. I started it on the GBA right after I finished the first game, but I ended up dropping it a few hours in due to lack of motivation. I really gotta get back to that... maybe after Final Fantasy III and Chrono Trigger

Wait, I didn't realize they canceled the PS4 version! Sorry to hear that, seems like an odd game to be PS5-only over the 4. (I say that, but honestly haven't been following it's development ) Hopefully you can get a chance to play it! I know new consoles are hella expensive.

If you're interested in EarthBound Beginnings, I would recommend Tomato's translation of the GBA version! It has a lot of mechanical improvements over the NES game (such as a run button and smoother movement more akin to EarthBound), as well as a more accurate translation and a new homebrew item: the Easy Ring! It decreases encounter rates and doubles XP gain (iirc) and is a huuuge improvement to the overall experience. I started a playthrough of that, still need to finish, but if you're interested in more of the Mother series, I recommend it!

The vocal album was very good love the music for the series, and that shows just how important it was to the team from the very beginning (the EarthBound Beginning... )

Ahaha the Sanctuary bosses in EarthBound can be pretty tough depending on your strategy since their levels scale to the party. For me, I just had to play through it maybe 3 times and learn weaknesses/resistances to pound them down with some PK attacks

I didn't know the Wii game had custom music. That's cool! They seem like some really nice chill games.

The PSP is great! I just got my first, and it’s incredible compared to the DS (strange to say as a Nintendo fan!). The PS1Classics can’t be undervalued when talking about legacy content, it’s just a fantastic handheld!
