I checked out Rezon and indeed, it does looks very hard. I guess that's pretty much a prerequisite of any retro shooter I'll give it a try when I can, I like some gratuitous frustration every now and then. I did know of the R-Type series, but for some reason I've never really looked into it, might as well try to track down some of those games too.
By the way, I must say I'm surprised to see someone here who has played Rozenkreuzstilette (well, that and lots of other obscure titles, but that one struck me the most because I'm still waiting for the sequel english release). Glad to know there are still some fans around.
