I thought that it looked vaguely familiar; I only played Gold/Silver once and didn't like them, despite how much I loved Red/Blue/Yellow. The second generation just had too much content for me. I think that my first real gaming infatuation was The Legend of Zelda on the NES. My parents probably still hear the overworld music in their sleep!

Oh, I'm also a palette princess; in my Computer Tech 2 class in high school (over a decade ago), everyone would ask me for the hex values for the specific color they wanted for their webpages. I'd usually get the exact shade within 2 tries. As simple as my avatar looks, I agonized over the colors for hours, and it took me 2 sessions to get the combination I really wanted. I even asked for IconForge for my 18th birthday, just so I could make my own desktop icons, and I spent countless hours doing just that. I never made any terrible web comics, but I definitely made a terrible RPG with RPG Maker on the PS1. Absolutely awful; pretty, though.

I've only recently been introduced to my absolutely favorite band; in March, my sister introduced me to The Birthday Massacre. I feel like a dork sometimes, because I keep telling people about this awesome band that's my absolute favorite, and I only recently got one of their albums. It's a great band on its own, but when you have sound-to-sight synaesthesia, it's absolutely mind-blowing.

Oh man, Space Funeral is really out there. It's something that's better experienced than explained. I love introducing obscure games to new people!

Sorry, I can't remember; I followed a chain of interesting avatars, but I can't recall any of them. I was going to try to identify your avatar by what kind of banner you had, but it seems you've done as I have; I have a palette-swapped Kara from Phantasy Star 3 with flames and random artwork for a banner.

Fancy! I haven't the first clue as to how to operate PhotoShop; I usually use MSPaint for stuff, but it doesn't always look that great as a result. If it's 8- or sometimes even 16-bit stuff, I can get it pretty much pixel perfect, but I'm out of luck for most anything else.

At any rate, the artwork is vaguely reminiscent of Space Funeral, though I suppose that since Space Funeral is relatively recent, and the album came out 20 years before I began gaming, it would be the other way around. I've never heard of the band, the album, or a single song on it, but I'm intrigued, having read the description. I'll definitely have to check it out at some point.
