It wasn't as rough as I expected going in, but like you said, having all the regions done first probably helped a lot. I was starting to burn out around Gongaga too as far as completion went.

You've managed to complete it before I even responded haha. Congrats! I just did it myself as well this morning. I sincerely hope you didn't spend as much time as I did on it. I actually reached a point where I was certain that I would give up.

I personally feel like it's the most difficult stage I've ever played in a Mario game and I've completed almost every Mario platformer I've played. The invisibility stage was just unnecessary and felt unfair as opposed to challenging. Especially the lack of a checkpoint there was brutal, because I didn't want to replay the 3 stages before I could attempt it again.

The stage killed me so much that it almost ruined the entire experience I had with this game, because honestly the game is quite amazing overall.

You've got great taste, sir Speaking of Hotel Dusk, I'm really hoping it gets the same treatment as Another Code in the near future. A remake of HD and LW would be amazing.

I haven't played the Ship of Harkinan one or whatever, I thought about checking it out, but seem to recall getting really pissed off at something like one of those readmes that reads like a fantasy thing with the dude up his own ass or some code instead of something people can actually read. I think it was one of those "I'm gatekeeping this video game hack behind my Discord server because I have no friends and surely holding this video game thing hostage will get me friends" Not to mention it just didn't sound anywhere near as good as the one I use, and I've heard friends try using it and had issues.

I've tried the 3DS randomizer on a hacked 3DS, and it's...fine, but has a lot less features than the N64 randomizer

I get what you mean. I still had finals to finish up while everyone else was raving about TotK. I finally made the time for myself and binged BotW to get in on it, but it was at the cost of 4-6 hours of sleep. I am not a sane human being

As someone that was in the same boat and only recently went back to finish BotW and start TotK right after, it's a tough dilemma. If you choose to go back then you might wanna prepare for putting in the hours. With the RPGs you're already playing, that might mean putting them on hold for a few days or a week. I will say that TotK leads really well into BotW tho. All in all, free time might be hard to manage regardless.

ToTK FOMO hitting me harder than I thought it would. Maybe I should make some time to go back and wrap up BotW.
