Finally have a new PC. Had to get it at a bad financial time because my previous one was starting to give up the ghost, but fortunately the poor old thing held up long enough for the several days of time-budgeting it took to get everything important backed up.

It's still not top-of-the-line amazing stuff in this new rig, but it's a massive improvement, in all regards except base drive space (500GB, down from 1TB), and I am glad to have it. Thank God I can actually play more games than League of Legends

For retail it's less "we're planning your christmas shopping way the fuck ahead of time" and more "who the fuck buys gifts for halloween, do your black friday/cyber monday/christmas shopping in october before the lines set in" because it earns them more money in the long run...especially true for electronics chains. Grocery stores work similarly. Halloween lasts one night, Thanksgiving technically lasts a day before counting leftovers and food comas, Black Friday/Cyber Monday is a long weekend, and Christmas might as well be the whole month.

It probably sucks to work at a grocery store around Christmas time because you're stuck hearing Christmas music for probably the entire month. But what do I know, I've never worked a day of retail in my life.

Ahaha, I really need to replace that banner. If you had seen it about a year ago when it was still relevant, I would have had a comment in the side bar listing all the games on it that I was beating.

Probably shouldn't feel too bad if you don't recognize all of them. Some of them are obscure, or the art style doesn't differentiate itself enough to be obvious.

I can name the ones you are having trouble with, if you like.

Unless my mind is playing tricks on me, I'm pretty sure that I got everything in one run. It's been six years, after all. Generally, I explore as much as I can and if I'm still missing anything beyond that, I'll look it up. Too many games to play to wander around aimlessly trying to 100% something...
