When I first loaded up the game I wasn't sure what I was getting into, it seemed like a generic AAA open world game. Hours went by as it keep introducing new mechanics which peaked at me getting a broom and travelling around the world. After 20 hours I more than had my fill but I've barely scratched the surface. It doesn't play all that well, it's incredibly generic in every regard and feels like it came out two gens ago. It has all the makings of an Ubisoft game despite not being one.

The plot and it's characters are so well written and acted that not only was I sucked into the game until I beat it but left thinking about it whenever I wasn't playing it. Few games have effected me the way this game did. It's gorgeous which I thought was the cause of it's lack of exploration and limited mechanics. I was beginning to worry but by the time you hit the main game it opens up and keeps snowballing with new quests and abilities. Excellent pacing in it's story and gameplay.

It just isn't designed for it and hasn't been well implemented to run in VR. Having to constantly adjust settings to prevent motion sickness, something I haven't had with any other game, it says it all really. It looks terrible, , it actually causes eye strain it's that blurry. After the initial wow factor of 'It's Skyrim in VR' there's not much else here. It's the full Skyrim experience made worse by bad optimisation.

Was unsure at first, incredibly strange tone even when comapred to the tonel shifts in 2 but Frank has won me over.
