Oh gosh, the first Just Cause is such a mess, I remember playing it a long time ago when it came out. If you haven't yet, try the rest of the series if you're able to deal with the first long enough to finish it! A breath of fresh air, they are.

Correct. Slash does absolutely nothing. My biggest problem is when he buffs his attack and goes on a rampage. Insta kills MC and game over. I'm planning on either blocking for the duration of this attack or waiting until Akihiko can fight again so I have four members. Grinding may help, too.
