Sorry for the late reply, I guess I do have a lot of games I don’t mind having another buddy at all, the more the merrier especially if you like talking about video games. Oh I’m so glad you’re going to pick up Ni no Kuni II I was genuinely surprised at how much I loved it it has to be one of the best JRPG’s I’ve ever played.

Thanks for sending me your thoughts on Oxenfree. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it! Whoops to pissing off one of Alex's friends though . Good call to go through the game to get the ending you want though. It does sound a bit annoying about the characters talking over each other, but if that's the main complaint then it sounds like a solid game. I will definitely check it out at some point!

Did you have a good time with Oxenfree? I was so close to buying it in the last PSN sale but decided against it. Did you enjoy it?

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed Until Dawn It's a really great game to play with others, even if the others are just telling you what they think you should do. That's how my wife and I played it and it was a lot of fun. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the story, were genuinely scared a few times by it, and you're right about those death scenes... yikes! Nice work making it through the night without losing anyone though. I plan on going through the game again one of these days and going for a clean run.

It was really cool having the game set near to where I live, even if the place in mention is fictional. I have never heard of Swendigos before, but it was a really cool and quite a terrifying monster. I'd never want to run into one, that's for sure! Haha.

Oh, btw, I think I'm just about at the end of FF9. I just got to disc 4 so I figure I've just got a few hours left to go. It has been a really fantastic game though! Really loving the story and the characters.

Edit: I finished FF9! Great game... but those final bosses....

I see you've been playing Until Dawn recently. What did you think of it?

My wife and I are fans of old slasher movies so we quite enjoyed it. It's also (fictionally) set in the same province that I live in so we both that was pretty cool too.

Thanks! I have been hearing such great things about FF9 and I have been thoroughly enjoying it so far. I'm not huge on RPGs, but I couldn't say no to trying this one out. I'll let you know what I end up thinking of it once I finish it.

You'll have to let me know what you think of Deadly Premonition once you delve into it. I have always been curious about that game but have never gotten around to actually booting it up.

I haven't played the DLC for Sleeping Dogs. If you end up buying any of the expansions, let me know if it's worthwhile.

Both are good choices. I didn't start Bully yet, but I heard a lot of positive things about the game. I highly recommend Metro Redux. Excellent atmosphere, unique mechanics, and a morality system that is never in your face.

Urf, someone else who desperately wants to revisit Bigby Wolf and friends! Such a fun and rich setting to play with, I'd love to see what Telltale could do now that they have more experience than their first crack at the game. But how was Tales from the Borderlands? I've played a bit of BL but wasn't really in it for the lore or story.

At least once every year I have this huge urge to play through it again but when I finish it I feel so empty inside. I should go back to the HD remake and complete it someday.

Nice to know that everybody made it in one piece! Incidentally, I made the right choices during the final battle and all of my squadmates lived. Postponing certain missions till I amassed Paragon points allowed me to maintain their loyalty.

I remember those scenes with Tali getting caught by the explosions. Guess her suit had enough armour to withstand it.
