Just wanted to say kudos for the in FTL!
If you're ever wanting more, FTL has a great modding scene. Custom ships, new weapon types, graphics, music, whole campaigns, boss randomizers, you name it.

Some of the "mega mods" out there like Captain's Edition vastly improve the world building, something FTL isn't very good at. It's an interesting setting that I'd like to see expanded upon if they ever made second game.

Man, it'll feel weird transitioning to the new website after getting used to this one, but I have a feeling it's for the better. Onwards and upwards!

I blame you and Mattkuo for talking about, and thus making me buy, Trojan (NES).

It does seem like it could be quite fun once you get familiar with the game, and start piecing together some good runs.

100% agreed it was a surprise for me how much I enjoyed it. And you're right at the start I was frustrated as I was learning the fights and the bosses but the game rewards you when you do. I find it so interesting / fun how some boss fights reward aggressive gameplay while others reward a slower defensive fight.

The last fight in particular I used this strategy and I was losing my mind as I was streaming it while figuring the pattern of attack to use.

I just love these NES / retro games so much that you can go from going hard stuck on the second boss to performing perfect runs as you learn and get better.
