Heya it's been a while! As for the Xillia region I haven't noticed anything, but I am pretty sure the trophy list is the same.
I didn't really feel like completing Xillia 2 even if it is possible, but usually I only go for completition when I get into a game a lot and also feel like spending extra time to do everything. I liked Xillia 2 but I don't feel like completing it anytime soon. As for Berseria I do like it enough to go for completition, just haven't gotten around to replay it yet. Sorry for the late reply! As I remember, the Devil's Arms are fully unlocked after defeating the bonus dungeon Boss. Until then they aren't the best weapons to use I believe but once unlocked they get stronger with each kill.

I say go for shop upgrade! Upgraded shops unlock new items and you probably get a decent amount of money trough the game anyway! If you are going for completion, then I'd recommend shop upgrade even more. You can take over your shop level into the NG+ with grade, so you don't have to do it in one playtrough, but it's good to work towards it when you play first time anyway

Oh yeah now I see what you mean, those rare items aren't used for anything besides shop upgrade so you don't have to really save them! But some shops give you bonus points for turning in items they search for, so it's good to turn the materials in where you get the most bonus for it.

Still, though. Ew. I played the Bioshock trilogy back-to-back the winter before last and booooyyyyy was I disappointed in Infinite after the (heheh) rapturous experience that was the first Bioshock. Hurray for ultra-linearity! Hurray for switching to a two-gun format for no apparent reason! Hurray for locking you into one spell at any given time with no way to go back on your decision! Hurray for a plot that seems to be meaningful and symbolic but is actually just a series of rote cliches about American culture! Hurray for foreshadowing so painfully obvious I predicted the ending before I'd even met Elizabeth!

Seriously, fuck that game. Also, kindly ignore that I own it twice.

Oh wow, Skies of Arcadia. That was one of the better RPGs I played from that console generation. Not that there was a great deal of competition.

Ever play Power Blade 2? Well, take that and replace Ahnie Nova and his boomerang with Captain America and his shield. Change some of the bosses to black-armored guys, and dull the palettes. Bam; you have Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It would've been a lot neater if the level layouts had actually been changed, or your outfit changed colors when you switched abilities, but that doesn't happen. I lie; your white boots turn red, but it does that for all 4 abilities. Unless you're a hardcore Captain America fan, I'd just stick with the original Power Blade 2, personally. I mean, I did enjoy it, but I also greatly enjoy Power Blade 2; I have ever since I saw screenshots in Nintendo Power back when the NES was still a thing. If you're interested, though: [Link]
