Oooh, Oblivion is great! And yeah, wrpgs are known to be massive timesinks. Don't blame you there on shelving it. I spent like over 160 hours in Oblivion I think lmao.

But yeah the real key to enjoying the game further is knowing what build set you're going for. I went as an thief/assassin type and had a blast with it.

Ooh you bought Contact. Alright, let me warn you. Its a great idea on paper for a while, til you kinda hit a stalemate in the middle half and find yourself grinding a bit. And ultimately... be prepared for a let down last half. :

Ahh yeah, not yet, JUST NOT YET. Got to find a few more moonfish to get it. I was quite pissed last night too when I was trying to make more discoveries (BEFORE Domingo finds them and etc) and I was trying to get past the tornadoes but I was SLUGGISH slow going and I just kept getting encounters like every minute. I could feel the nerves in my head fret ever so much lol. But I'm calm now and should be able to just deal this morning.

I also should add the bulk of the enemies that I was encountering really loves to cast the death spell. So I had Aika on Delta Shield duty the whole time. The DARNEST thing happened. I got the Black Map as a drop from them!

Gosh you make me feel so damn old. (31) But yeah, about time I finally get around to this. I played the first one some years ago and liked it alright. I can see myself enjoying this one somewhat. Its an easy rpg to get through. What I liked most about Golden Sun is their music. :D

I see you've completed GS:TLA! How long did that take you? I'm assuming pretty short.

Stuff I was playing when I was 13 or 14 were mostly awesome nes games to genesis games or SNES games. Man they were the days. I rent a lot then too. NO money to buy such an extensive collection like we can today. Thankfully he's an obsessive collector as I was too. :D

I dunno, I usually save s for games that have some sort of extra difficulty, challenges or achievements. That way I can differentiate stuff I've merely finished but haven't done any extras from games I've beat but that's pretty much it.
