So, what's it like playing Earthbound on a console as it was intended after like nearly 20 years of Nintendo ignoring it?

Of course, that $5 price tag probably helps out a lot, considering the prices of Earthbound SNES Paks these days, although I would think they'd be going down in price by now thanks to said VC release.

I'm under the assumption that it's a straight port and nothing was added to it.

I hope you like Mass Effect. I don't know if you've played any of them, but the original is still my favourite even if I'm in the minority. Make sure you do all of the side quests and what not too. A lot of people hate them since some buildings are literally copied and pasted for the majority of the side quests, but exploring space is fucking cool.
