I hated doing those because they usually rewarded you with a single coin, but I thought some of them were kind of funny. Like the time he wanted to see a coconut before he dies, or that tape from Goompa that I liked thinking it was something inappropriate because he refused to describe its contents.

Paper Mario 64 is my favorite of the trilogy too, and one of my favorite RPGs of all time. I've never done a specific badge run but I've considered the possibility, as it would definitely change up the experience.

Ah, okay. Yeah, that was definitely the impression you gave me, that you hadn't beaten any of them before.

Even so, it's always nice seeing another person who prefers the first game over the other two. Paper Mario for N64 is easily one of my favorite games of all time, and while I haven't touched it in years, I can assure you...I've beaten it 20 times!

I've never done any special runs on any of them though, like Danger Mario. It never really came to mind whenever I wanted to play. I think the games, especially the original, in their vanilla flavor are enjoyable enough for me to not bother.

I hate the Pit of 100 Trials in TTYD, but I've cleared it a few times before, but it takes me forever every time.
