Wow, you are in for a treat to be able to play that for the first time! Easily one of my all time favorite Castlevania games. This Advance Collection is a really good deal to get 4 games for $20 and I imagine it will go on sale often, too. It makes me want to check out the original Castlevania Collection. I've played them all but it might be fun to trophy hunt them.

Grats on the Demon's Souls ! I'm still slowly working my way through. I spend a long time playing through Souls games, but they seem to always be waiting for me to return to them. I had such an amazing time Platinuming DSIII a couple of years ago. I'm working on all the Souls games (including Bloodborne) but it's taking me a while to slowly work through them. I'm afraid that if I do it quickly, I'll have a huge hole left that won't be filled until Elden Ring.

Yeah I feel the same about Demon's Souls, so far it's everything I had hoped for and more. Magic seems really good in this game, I definitely want to try out different builds later on once I get a grasp on everything.

My apologies. Actually I had some help, I'm really good at the 3D Platforming sections (all those years of 3D Mario games paying off), but my son loved the monkey and spring frog sections so he kept doing them to see how fast he could pull it off. He showed me a neat trick with the spring suit, you can actually charge midair and then land and launch again without having to charge on the ground. I was so proud of him.

I see your playing Demon's Souls as well. How are you liking it? I'm a pretty diehard souls fan but never played the original, so this is quite the treat for me.

Seeing your annual FFIX playthrough always makes me smile! I picked up the Switch port not too long ago, which was naturally a fantastic decision.

Hey, I saw Final Fantasy IX on sale the other day and couldn’t make up my mind if I should buy it or not. I peeped that you do an annual playthrough and had it as your #1 favorite game so I was like . You totally convinced me lol.

I had you on my multi-tap for a while now and we like pretty much a lot of the same types of games (that Metal Gear tho); so I feel like I’m for a big treat with FF9. Hope you enjoy your annual playthrough!

Yeah I decided when I first saw the DL versions of each system I said that's too much lol.

Think I am going to consolidate my PSN and Nintendo downloads into their respective platforms, just to get rid of the bloat and tidy up my platform list.
