This is my biggest worry with the Dark Urge playthrough because I also suffer from "Must be nice to the fictional characters disease" too! I'm just going to grit my teeth and go full evil with my run maybe I’ll just die to someone I like and call it my cannon ending then go back to a jolly run with my beefy bear husband (I didn’t have him in my original run and lost Wyll + Karlach so I have plenty of options!)

NGL the grove started to really annoy me at one point and everything the Goblins / Minthara where saying I remember just nodding too haha (even though I was playing it sure safe to not annoy everyone too much I was locked out of getting them (until the raid that is ) - Insane to think I’ll be playing this super long game multiple times in the future & props loving every moment as I go lol

I'm still in the Gale is a bit annoying camp but I’ll willing to give him another go on my second playthrough! never heard him described as BIG Autism energy before but i think you might be onto something there this Is what I love about the game though everyone feels like a living breathing person with their own fleshed out personality instead of generic hot guy or girl like being more attracted to their personality is what makes it so real.

Oh boy Karlach haha "She looks like she could pick me up and carry me to safety if needed" is exactly the kind of energy she gives off

I've heard from multiple people now that Dark Urge really pushes it to the limit so I’m super interested to see what it's actually like - I'm expecting things along the line of Ketherics intro with the goblins but x10 & that was one of the most shocking moment I’d seen in a game for a while

I feel like my FFXIV character is themed around star bird at this point with his light blue shirt, blue earrings, gloves & blue bird on his shoulder - I'm looking forward to the new Hildibrand stuff so much it seems like he’s been away for so long!!

I think we're all a little gutted about the lack of FeMC in P3R honestly... just seems like such a missed opportunity as it feels like Golden / Royal than base game - I have my fingers crossed they do it as DLC this time but knowing me I’ll be up for a P3 Re-Reloaded in a few years’ time!

Actually finding someone who’s beaten BG3 was good enough but the fact you started your Dark Urge run right away so happy right now!!

I ended up played a sassy Female Barb who took no Fs from anyone Intimidated ended up being my bread n butter move that made for some hilarious eye watering conversations & tense ones! - One of the best things about the game imo was how I could play that character without getting penalised (like every other game) as everyone just knew I was “the sassy Barb that spoke like that” it’s ruined all other game dialogue now but heyho lol

Fav companion was probably Minthara? more specifically her in Act 3 where I could not stop laughing at her “Wtf is that…" & "wHY?!" comments haha like the circus where she just wants to kill the clown flat out for telling bad jokes I was dead lmao

All of them are way too hoooot... I mean…. Larian knew exactly what they were doing here & yes woo everyone!
I ended up wooing Lae’zel by accident because in all honestly my first game run was baffling compared to everyone else’s. I ended up with Lae’zel, Minthara & Jaheira as my final team (Gale & Astrian as back up) had some spectacular choices like wiping out the grove because the goblins actually ended up being nicer to me, getting Minthara on the team & running circles around so many companion choices, villains and options I was 1000% sure I would go with… but everything ended up fine so yay!
Nice! I’m going to be starting my Dark Urge playthrough on PS5 once I get my physical copy I can’t imagine what some of the options are going to be like

My friend recently got both Ultimate Rapier of the Heavens & Mandervillous Rapier and as a RDM main I’m not stupidly jealous and won’t acknowledge them or anything > - Oh, you must use it when you get it! (I have faith!!!) It’s the ultimate FFXIV flex! Mine is getting the Minion Starbird on the first run of The Dead Ends & it’s never going off my character muhahaha

It was on my shelf for about 3 years before I decided to jump on it & it really is RPG catnip haha. It sounds like it shouldn’t work as it’s a whacky mix of Fire Emblem (character / hero designs), Shin Megami Tensei (Story, combat, dungeons) all thrown into an Idol based anime but it does?? & it just keeps getting more and more entertaining the further you get in! High on my recommendations list now for how nothing else is like it
