Hi there! I'm a JRPG-andseveralotherthings junky; may God have mercy on my soul. I've also an unhealthy love for dumb/janky yet charming games, inspired music, sound design and aesthetic in video games... and writing about my thoughts on them in general.
If you think my english is bad in some (or every) comment, is because I'm italian (once again: may God have mercy on my soul).
You can definitely tell the cringe and bad grammar are even stronger in my earliest comments.
Usually I do not rate the games I play, so the "rating stars" you see are simply a personal "recommendation meter". I really like many "3 Stars games", I just think they're a bit hard to recommend to someone who have less normie tastes than me.

: Collection items and dropped games which I do not plan to restart.

: Not played yet or tried for few hours.

: Dropped, but I plan to restart it in a long distant future.

: Main story/campaign is done without every single quest done or extra endings (..if there are any).

: Done every sub-quest in the main game which matters to me. I do not consider a "platinum trophy" a complete game, just the feeling that I'm done with that title and with it has given to me.

: Self imposed challanges or the hardest difficulty mode are conquered.
Consoles I currently own: Nintendo GBA (SP), DS (OG and Lite), 3DS (OG and New 3DS), Switch (OLED), PSP (Slim), PS Vita (OG), PS (One), PS2 (OG and Slim), PS3 (Slim), PS4 (Slim), PS5, Gamecube, Wii (OG), Wii U, Xbox One (OG), a broken Xbox (lol), NES Mini, SNES Mini and CoreGrafx Mini.
Feel free to add me on your multitap!
I also like to chat, but don't feel any obligation to do that.
Ah yes, another Souls fan! Awesome.
I understand about your soft spot for RE5 and 6, I definitely think there is some appeal there even if they weren't for me! I was really excited to see a lot of the old characters in RE6, and it was nice to see Chris get his own game in 5, too. I completely agree about RE3 though, I was surprised to find that there even was Choose Your Own Adventure elements; the pressure certainly mounts when the important decisions are very life or death feeling. RE7 was much scarier than I was anticipating too, like wow. Talk about a departure! Ethan as a protagonist kept making me laugh with how seemingly unbothered he was for most of it, haha.
And yeah, I totally agree about FF2, it is unfortunately quite a boring game. Which is a shame because everything around it is great!
