Ah yes just had a "look" down my Steam library and it turns out I have a lot more games in my backlog than originally thought... this is gonna take a while

Tears of the Kingdom at 170 hours. What a blast! Definitely my game of the year; even though the story was not to my liking, the game itself was still excellent.

...I still have a lot of side quests and adventures to finish though. We'll see if that will happen or not...

I just Portal 3 Portal: Reloaded. This is the closest thing to Portal 3 available right now. Even though this is not developed by Valve, the puzzles were genuinely creative, had a lot of variety, and I really had to think out of the box in order to solve them. Now the only thing I need from this series is a VR game!

I will start posting regular updates to my backlog here in the Dialogue Box, since it's been inactive for like 2 years, I figured - why not?

I will start with this:

I beat Pikmin 3 Deluxe, wonderful game but much shorter than I remember it to be. It's a fairly replayable game though so I'll be replaying some of the levels to get the remaining fruit. Other than it being short I absolutely loved everything about this game - and it makes me want a more complex Pikmin 4, which was teased a couple of years ago but... nothing's in sight yet.

After Pikmin, I will probably start playing Super Mario Sunshine as the last game of the Super Mario 3D All Stars collection.

Yeah, this is by far my favorite website. I'm a little hesitant on the site redesign, but I am old and do not like change. But, I think in time, I will get use to it and really enjoy it. I just don't want it to be too much and loose the simplicity of the site.

Hahaha, thanks! It's been a pretty long ride. I finally moved into a place where I can display my entire collection, but it's taking quite a bit of planning to figure out how to put everything out there. I've also been collecting more than playing, so I'm entering dangerous territory.

Yeah it's what I'm thinking. There's many good games coming out at the end of the year for the Switch, too. But, I'm going to beat some of the games I already have first before I get a Switch haha

It is my 3rd Backloggiversary today. And oh how I and this page progressed. I would like to thank Drumble and everyone else who worked on this site and made the experience very welcome and enjoyable.

Loving the hell out of DOOM. There's a certain simple charm about a game like this that knows exactly why you're there and gets straight to the point. Presentation is on point too, from the music to the visuals and especially the sound design (I can't think of the last shooter I played where every gun felt as good to use as they do here). And of course, can't forget about "Doom Guy" and all the character put into all his animations.

Definitely a rock-solid start as far as first impressions.

Getting under 100 has always been my main goal. I did it once and then ruined it by buying a bunch of games. This time, it's going to stick and I'm going to stay under it from now on!

Today is my second Backloggiversary! Two years of logging video games. This site has been amazing and I will continue using it as long as I play video games
