Thank you so much for your thoughts on FFV. I do own it, but unfortunately, it is the PS1 version, so now I am leery to try it based on your experience. Did you run into the save glitch right away or was it something that happened after you had put some real time into the game? I'd like to give the PS1 game a go to see if I can be lucky enough to avoid the glitch, but not if it is something you don't discover until you have put a lot of effort into the game.

I am so glad you enjoyed The Last Story! It truly is one of my favorite RPGs and I am so glad Operation Rainfall was able to succeed in bringing it over to the U.S. so that we could play it. It really had everything - good characters, plot, music, genuine surprises, the works. Fantastic game - now I am itching to replay it. I also have a hankering to play the Baten Kaitos series again. Man, those games are my favorite of all time and it has been way too long since the last time I played them...wow, probably around 9-10 years now that I think about it.

Have you heard about Horizon: Zero Dawn yet? That is my most anticipated game. It looks absolutely terrific and is honestly one of the main reasons I purchased a PS4 a few months ago. Luckily, there are plenty of great games to play while I wait until next year for it to come out. I've already purchased around 30 games for the system! The PS Store's weekly/Flash sales offer such incredible deals. I don't see how I will ever defeat my backlog!

How do you like Final Fantasy V? That is the next entry in the FF series I have been intending to play (I've played I, III, and IV) and am curious if it is worth bumping up into my "top priority to play" list. Thanks, I always genuinely appreciate your feedback.

I had no idea Pier Solar and the Great Architects was a Dreamcast game. I've had my eye on it on the WiiU eShop, but I don't remember any mention of it being an older game...I guess they remastered it? Anyway, it looks like a sweet game - you'll have to let me know what you think .
