EA was great in the 16 bit era! Not just in the Genesis, but also in the computers of that time (specially the Commodore ones, the 64 and the Amiga)

I used to rent General Chaos back in the day but couldn't make much of it because of my young age at that time. It's a really chaotic (lol) RTS for a console launched a year before the first Warcraft (which was my first RTS). But I plan to replay it nowadays to see if it's good.

Yea, TJ&E2 is a darn pretty game, both in graphics and art style.

Actually while doing this mini-marathon I've been thinking about how 1993 has such a huge step up in this department for the Sega console, as compared to the previous year. Speaking of graphics only, in 1992 we have games like Landstalker, Ecco, Lightening Force, Kid Chameleon, and the very good looking ports of Out of this World and Gods. Sonic 2 is a perfect game, but graphically it doesn't do many things different than what Sonic 1 did, and the same can be said about Streets of Rage 2 (also a game I adore, but I prefer the art style of SoR 1).

In 1993 we have TJ&E2, Gunstar Heroes, Alladin, Shinobi III, Flashback (which unlike Out of this World, was designed originally for the Sega Genesis!), the port of Street Fighter II, Ranger-X. The first time I saw Ranger-X I thought it was a Neo Geo game! It is the year that we get truly cartoony art style like Haunting, Ren & Stimpy, General Chaos and others. Genesis developers really found something in that year.

Kid Chameleon has an undeniable charm, despite being such a simple platformer. To me it's the comfort food of platformers: it doesn't do anything new, but what it does, it does very well.
