Note on my latest of Pokémon Yellow Version with the living Pokedex goal: I actually have done a past Gen 1 living Pokedex a year or two ago followed by an attempted Stadium 100% run. But I felt unworthy for the feat knowing how I overused PkHeX - I was cloning disposable TMs and other items to infinite.

Today I did it legitimate with minimal/accessibility use of PKHex (Easy link-style transfers, etc.), and after relearning how to speedrun Red/Blue. But technically, I have done the Stadium's Elite Four 6-8 times prior for random one-off Pokemon, and then speedran for specified ones (I was only missing two each of Squirtle and Kabuto after the Elite 4 reruns). Now I plan to clean out Stadium after assembling specific parties for each main cup in the game.

By the way, I really want to continue my trek through other generations for quite some time, but every run I made in Gen 1 just felt off to me (see above). I'm ensuring this is the last full-blast 100% of Gen 1 before I do Gen 2. Don't mind me and my chorological ordering of certain games like Pokemon here.

And another thing: For this whole Gen 1 expedition, I was doing a YouTube series through all four games of Gen 1 (RBY + Stad). And after long hiatus. We just might see a few more episodes of me stumbling through the meat of Stadium. You can see the series here: [Link]

I have been meaning to say this for a while: Technically I have been using Backloggery for about ten years. Now I would've gotten the 10th ring day through, but this is just a "newer" account I made after two "abandoned" ones. My ideals were specific but mainly wanted a name change, okay maybe two.

But anyway, when I first discovered some peer's Backloggery on a forum, I really loved the idea and made my own account. This site helped me get motivated to playing my games that were still untouched for a while. Later on when I was fully settled, I went multitapping some others just to know the site neighborhood more. Most of you were nice and friendly, and helped made my confidence and use of the site flow more smoothly.

I even joined the official Discord out of some circulation, but somehow got kicked out at least a year in. But even after learning from certain mistakes I may have caused over there, I will say this much: I'm pretty sure you needed to become a BL patron for the Discord link. And seeing as I feel unworthy for the Discord, I decided to stay off it myself (I would've wanted to subscribe as a patron but money is an issue on my end, especially with all kinds of online services were subbing is the only payment). But still, hope things are doing well over there.

Anyway, I was once lightning fast during my first several years using the site. Yet even though that rate gradually dropped in the later years, I will still really admire what Drumble and co. have done to help make the site look polished and fairly stable.

Thank you all in the community! I don't know the current state of the site remake since I hardly talked with Drumble or Try, but hopefully we get to see it soon now that beta has dropped!

Yeah that makes sense, any games that aren't current gen I tend to emulate these days too, my backlog for those here tends to be games i have on my shelf or ones i've emulated and played (not owned I've marked as 'Other'
