Nah, haven't started Dishonored yet. Since I still only have dual-booting on my Mac for playing my Windows games, I don't get around to them very often. I've been meaning to build a gaming rig so that I can finally start playing through some of them more regularly, but I've been saving up for a house (I'm actually hoping to buy something in the B/CS area before the end of the year), so a gaming rig will have to come later.

As for me, just working these days. I left grad school after I started work at a pretty awesome software consulting company that's near Veteran's Park a few years back, and have loved working there since.

What about you? Last time I talked to you, you had just moved out of the apartments you had moved into after the house we were all at, so that would have been about two years ago, almost. Things going well?

Yeah... it's been a few years and I was trying to remember where I knew you from... I just figured it was from magic back in the day. Needless to say I feel like an idiot. Artie and I really enjoyed playing against those decks last night.

Nope, he doesn't live in town, but he's visiting for a few weeks and staying with some of his friends who live in town. I think he even mentioned doing some Magic stuff in the last few days, so that probably was him you saw.

EDIT: Texted him and he says that he recognized you too, but couldn't place where from, so that was him you saw after all.

Doing pretty well. Hopefully finishing up soon and starting a job in town. How about yourself?

Ocarina is a great game, and Master Quest is a better version of it. I was explaining to someone recently that Master Quest is like a fulfillment of that wish we all have that we could go back and play a great game through for the first time again. I played them both back-to-back when I was in the dorms, and they were great fun.

Celebi. Waiting on the GameStop event for that, though. Now I'm trying to get a 100 streak in the Tower for that last trainer card star.

One thing: when you beat the game (don't do it before, since you don't want anything spoiled), go find a walkthrough and learn about the secret ending to the game, then go back and get to it. SO much fun doing it. Let me know if you can beat a sub-6 minute time on the time trials (practice really does make perfect), since my best was 5'45"00. It's so insanely difficult to do it that I think you just might enjoy it quite a bit.

Eh, I saw that, but I'd still pick Cave Story up for free for PC/Mac. The graphics updates haven't been impressive enough to justify the cost in my opinion, and the original soundtrack is better than the revamped one they made for it. It's a game that you'll love, I think, since it seems to be right up your alley. It's like the best of action RPGs smashed together with Mega Man.

And Runner has been on my to-buy list for awhile now after I saw the admins here at backloggery doing it during a livestream.

Which one? I really enjoyed Beat, but wasn't such a fan of the second one. Runner looks great though.

Wow you really do sound ticked off. I would love to work in a game store and make at least full time and actually enjoy it. But both sound unlikely since GameStop is the only game retailer around...Play n Trades are few and far between. BTW, most retail jobs suck, so good luck!

I know, I randomly decided to make the banner then I was inspired to play it... So I turned it into a marathon to sate my DWM craving.

Been pretty good, started school recently so my gaming's on the back burner, still making fairly good progress though.

Also, Scribblenauts is pretty damn fun, though the levels are starting to get a bit repetitive where I am...
