I'm not quite as addicted to it, but that might just be because of my school schedule. I graduate in 3 weeks, so I've been busy trying to finish research projects and class assignments while trying to find a job

I made some progress this weekend, but my gaming has slowed to a crawl recently. It took me an entire month to beat Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance... which was only 25 hours long...

Hopefully I've have some more time to work on Ghost Trick later this week

Have you thought more about getting a 3DS? I was hesitant for some time but its RPG library could shape up nicely if we receive word of localizations (maybe at E3 in a week?). There's even a remake of a never-localized SMT spinoff, Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers in the works.

Congrats on beating DDS. Any thoughts on it? If you liked it, I imagine you'll be satisfied with the sequel. It's been a while since I played it, but it has a lot of memorable scenes and the skills system is better than the first game's, if I recall.

It seems like nearly everyone spends upwards of 80 hours on P3 and P4. They really are addictive games, huh? I might replay them and max out the S. Links one of these days. It sucks when you come close to maxing out one or two Links and the game ends. :P I think I had a level-9 Link with Naoto, lol.

The great thing about Chrono Trigger is that it hasn't really aged. The sprite-based visuals are still gorgeous (among the very best when we're talking about low-res 2D) and with 13 endings, the game has nearly infinite replayability. The battle system isn't complex, but there's enough variety what with the large number of Double and Triple Techs. If you get around to playing it, I hope you come to love it as much as I (and seemingly everyone else) did when I first played it!

80+ hours in P4! Looks like you've made substantial progress of late.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if you had quit gaming! I'm actually becoming a bit disenchanted with gaming, to the point that I wonder if I should skip out on the next generation of consoles. ...Of course I'm sure I'll end up caving and buying something.

It's good not to worry about the count, yeah; I think psychologically speaking, hyperfocusing on that stuff can cause someone to obsess with 'making progress' instead of enjoying a game experience. I honestly think achievements run a similar risk; one's focus can easily become more diffuse when playing a game with them.

Ah, Radiant Historia was compared to Chrono Trigger in part because of its time travel, whereas Xenoblade has been compared to CT for its reception as an all-time great in the genre.
