☆☆★★★ This game is, like. You drive up this road that has potholes that are mostly shallow but are so numerous in places that you can barely keep your car together, but then you get to the top and it’s a beautiful vista. Overall, I’ve enjoyed my time with it. Holy cow does it need a fixit fic hammer for some of the weirder story decisions and probably some questionable localization decisions, but the myriad little issues ultimately don’t sour the highs in my book.

★★★★★ A rollicking good ride! Highly recommended for fans of ocean games and/or management sims. Perhaps more for the former. Quirky and loveable flawed characters, a very fun gameplay loop, and weird sci-fi nonsense. This game was Made For Me.

Project X Zone 2 is the most fun with a 60+ hour game I've had in a very long time. Did mean I didn't beat a lot of games in March, but who cares? It introduced me to a lot of wonderful worlds and characters, kickstarted me playing the games mentioned in it, and was in general a riot.

And it brought back Segata Sanshiro. That's the MOST most important thing it did.

Implementing the Confusion Rule to my rulebook, as well as opening a Project X Zone 2 slot. Fun!

Between a major Dominance battle at Flight Rising and getting sick, I didn't really beat a lot of games in February. But! I did an old childhood favourite, Beyond Oasis, and played a lot of other great stuff!

I think for now I'm shifting my goal to get a +1 score or better. Especially since I'll probably be doing Camp NaNoWriMo in April to finish off Causality for Project Blur.
