Hi CJAwesome, yeah... that guy on the movie is Robert Mruczek... he really know what he was saying, because the most part of our (Metroid Team) records were verified by him. Including the period when the Metroid Team members were staff/referees on Twingalaxies. Robert is an excellent friend!

Hi LiquidFire. If the "mastered" rules say Speed Runs are ok, time/score based records are to master it too. Yet more if they are "world-class" records, reaching high-skill levels on score based records, and very good times on time-based records, for example. If you want, please search for Metroid Team records on Twingalaxies, MARP or Guinness Book. Also, see what CJAwesome
said above, on 08/16/09 at 7:42 PM EDT... it will help to understand.

PS.: I am not saying I am the best of the world in all these games... but I am saying my marks reach very high skill levels on these games.

Why dont you write how you mastered the games instead og "records!" and the game name? :S you dont master them that way

Hi Gamma_metroid!

In short, we are 4 Brazilian players, and some members changes happened during the existence of the Metroid Team. I joined as member around 1999, and the name already was this one. Super Metroid (SNES) was one of the 1st great records of the team, so the current members decided to use it as part of the name. Each of the members is specialist/expert in differente styles of games, and historically, Metroid games are not in my list... but I enjoy the series. That's it PS.: If you see "Metroooid Team" in anywhere, it's related to us too :P

So you're the Metroid Team, but what do you have in the way of Metroid games? I don't recall ever seeing a Metroid game that wasn't for a Nintendo system.

Just forgot to tell you I like your way of playing (supposedly), completing every little bit of every huge game. I used to be that way myself, but now I'm kinda short on time. I'm still playng games, one at time, to the very end, but I'm not doing any speedruns or complete runs tough.

Next thing: acquire an Xbox360.

It's good to know someone other than me really apreciated Sega Saturn Games. Unfortunately I couldn't play many of them because it was hard back then to have one here, so I sticked to the ones I could play.

Of course Akumajou Dracula X was one I'd play, because I just love the series (my favorite is Portrait of Ruin for the Nintendo DS tough). I'm adding right away.

And my list is far from being complete. I started adding in a random pattern, but now I'm adding by console (started with Nintendo 64, now on SNES, including japanese only games). I had finished some games on the dreamcast also.

It'll be painful to add the GBA games...

Really, one strong characteristic of me and the other members of Metroid Team, is "if I play something... I want to play it well... to complete and explore all the game... and maximize the scores and try to reach the perfection". My favorite are the fighting and racing games, where you can see this characteristic in a lot of games. If you want, please see Twingalaxies site and MARP site too, and look for Valter "TRB" and for Rodrigo Lopes too.

You complete all your games, and never beat any! You must play all your games to the max. Amazing!
