I totally understand Topper. A while back, I, too, got rid of a bunch of games I hated having in my collection. I tend to only focus on games now that I'm proud to say I own, even if I don't necessarily have the time to play. I'm not too concerned with replay value though. As long as I enjoyed it or think I'll enjoy it, it stays in the collection.

Games are very much like old books, I agree. Especially if you have sentimental value attached to them. I couldn't imagine parting ways with such classics as Ocarina of Time or Super Metroid, and often find myself returning to them for a nostalgic trip back through time. One day I hope to grow my PS1 collection into a fraction of what you've accomplished, but for now I'll focus on getting my SNES games back to what I used to have as a child:P

Keep working on rockin' that collection of yours! May your backlog be vast and forever complete, haha.

Thanks! It definitely took a lifetime to get my collection to where it's at now. Unfortunately now that I'm older, I have a lot less time to play, yet I still collect games at an alarming rate, haha.

I see you are new to the site. Welcome! So far your collection isn't looking so bad yourself Your PS1 collection in particular has me gushing with envy!
