Framerate and resolution for Destiny Connect seem fine both handheld and docked, the only thing I noticed is that the resolution in cutscenes is sometimes a bit grainy when playing docked. Granted, I haven't played that much.

I've finished all the games in the series except KHIII now, so it's a non issue. The real issue is that... even as someone who often struggled to finish these games on their STANDARD difficulty.... KHIII IS FAR TOO EASY. I'm playing on Proud, with a fair bit of self-imposed handicaps and restraint, and GAH it is mindlessly easy. DDD was already noticeably easier than the previous games, and III makes it look like Dark Souls (and none of this is meant to knock DDD, it actually ended up as one of my favorite games in the series).

But holy crap. If I weren't using handicaps, Proud in this game would probably be easier than the easy modes in all the other games. That's ridiculous.

Still... I'm actually kinda thankful for KHIII. All the hype surrounding it finally got me to go back and do all the other games between KHII and it, and THOSE were all a lot of fun (even ReCoded was pretty decent!). It also gives me a unique perspective to criticize the difficulty, as I'm not just some expert who got too good at these games over the years. Quite the opposite, I'd say I'm still noobish at these games and even *I* think KHIII is far far FAR too easy, and I can use RECENT playthroughs of the older games to back this up.

I have the mk2 platinum so I'm well aware of the requirements, but thanks for the warning. Lily rank grinding is always the worst part of any HDN games.

If the sale hadn't already ended, I'll tell you to get it now. It is a real shame we didn't get all the characters (the update has several I recognise), but the version we did get is still damn good fun. Easily one of the better indie fighting games I've played.

Well, I haven't really played too terribly much of it (I'm in the middle). I am personally busy with the end of my schooling.

But truth be told I just don't like it as much. In a word, I think the problem is that it's bland. The story is entirely throwaway (more pointless than Rorona's, even), and the cast is... alright. The battle system is a big step down. Synthesis is basically the only thing that stands out as particularly interesting.

And also, even though events aren't missable, it's outright criminal that they took away event markers and made everything time of day/week based.

I anticipate a big step up for Firis because second games are always great and first games are always a big step down from their predecessors. Every time. <_<
