Capricious indeed! I thought I was doing something wrong since the Enigma kept failing, but alas, I'm just unlucky as usual. As for X6, I expect lots of insta-death trap parts in the numbered games, but not in my Mega Man X games. Blasphemy! I'm just bitter about the Metal Shark Player stage still ;3. Maybe when I get in a practicing mood again...

Glad to hear you're buying this game. Wind Waker was pretty awesome and I didn't mind the sailing as much. It was a first of what felt like freedom from land lmao. I dunno, the gameplay in WW was so polished that the sailing was pretty awesome. But yeah, you'll have fun with Spirit Tracks.

Hah! Well, I can't play fighting games on the horrible 360 d-pad, and the stick doesn't give enough precision for me. I'm only good at fighters with a PS-style controller (advocate of the shirt on dpad style >.>.

Your consolation is that whenever I've tried to play online games with you or your brother, they always seems to have horrible skipping framerates anyways due to your funky satellite internet :p We can cheer each other on in spirit though

I think the battle animations are a bit lacking compared to the others (like Mercs no longer leaping way up into the air), but the 3D doesn't bother me.
