Greetings from the Discord channel, and kudos on beating Quake.
It's a good time for classic FPS right now. If you've heard of Prodeus, I recommend it. Think Quake meets Doom. My only gripe is that the monsters are straight up Doom clones; they're not even subtle about it.

The rest of id Software's history post-Doom has been on my to-do list for too long. I think I'll start on Quake after either Black Mesa or the Deathwish mod for Blood.

Don't get me wrong, Trails is outstanding. It just wasn't for me. I'm sure if I'd played it in 2004 (or even 2014 when it was re-re-released) I would've appreciated it more. It's dated, but if you don't mind the simplistic battle system and snail's pace then it's a superb JRPG otherwise!
