I played a bit of Echoes of Time, which was okay, but it definitely felt like a step down from the original. I haven't played any of the others.

Oh, right - I had forgotten about that. I really dislike points of no return, but I thought the rest of the game made up for it. More characters (and character variety) was a big plus to me - I enjoyed having Sveta on the team. The graphics and music were greatly improved, the puzzles were more interesting... it's really just those points of no return that marred it slightly. It's a fantastic game overall, and it leaves the story open to a sequel, so you would think they'd make one.

Crystal Chronicles was a lot of fun! The sequels didn't have the same feel, in my opinion, which was too bad.

I didn't know there was a lot of hate for Dark Dawn. I mean, I know the voices kind of bothered people (as they did in the first two games), but I thought it was incredible. I hope they release another game soon...

very meh. Controls are obviously the biggest issue, but the camera control is kind of shit as well. Almost finished with it now, pretty sure I'm on the final level

One thing nice about the PS2....if your system breaks and you have a good memory card you can still keep the memory while switching systems

I think my first officially my system was the DS, and I think the N64. The problem with the PS2 was it was the original line and the disc tray that was faulty.

My gaming before a job was basically what my mom played....but she had the PS2 while I had the N64 >.> by the time I had her PS2....it was dying a few years later lol

There's alot of PS2 games I wish were remastered like Dark Cloud....I could get a used PS2 for $20 >.>

Glad to see someone else kinda conflicted about Velocity 2x. I certainly enjoyed it, but it fell short in a way I still can't quite grasp at.
Good luck finally beating Xenoblade Chronicles, I remember the last boss being pretty fun once I was ready for it, the level system is kind of odd in that you can't even hit things too far beyond you, but murder things a little lower in level. In any case may Everyman be with you
