I did not know about those Advance rings, had I know I would have maybe played the duology on the GBA. Are they available on the GameBoy Player as well? I think it emulated the GBA hardware, doesn't it?

But yeah, missing those features must suck. Even though, if you want to play the games with those passwords from the internet, you might as well skip two play-throughs.. I think...

How are you liking Oracle of Seasons so far?

How far did you get into Oracle of Ages anyway? Your progress note seems to indicate, there was not a lot of progress...
Are there rings not available on the NSO version of the Oracle games? I did not know that. Why did they not implement them?

Anyway, best of luck with the Zelda duo! I really liked both of them, they take a while to start, but then it's a fun ride all the way to the end!

Yeah, I understand your instant nostalgia for Majora's Mask.
If I had played Majora's Mask after Breath of the Wild, I would also probably have not liked Majora's Mask as much, but since I played Majoras's Mask in 2000 when it came out and Breath of the Wild in 2022, my bias goes to Majora's Mask. But Breath of the Wild is amazing, no doubt about that.

The GameCube version of Majora's Mask would randomly crash and freeze. That was terrible. The GameCube version of Ocarina of Time worked just fine instead.

Yeah, I also remember hearing lots of negative comments about the initial days of Nintendo Switch Online service, which is why to this day I do not have it. Also, most of the old games are easily available on my older consoles. Worst case, I go for emulation. Only when there is no other reasonable way to play a game.

I have done a playthrough of Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, but I did not do the whole four cycle thing. You should not play two games at the same time, just pick one to start with, finish it, you'll get a code, insert that code when you start the other game and watch the game's true finale play out.

That was when I stopped. If you want to, you can then copy that code again into the first game, get a different code, and put that into the second game again. That is when you should have finally seen everything the duology can offer.

But, as I said, I stopped at the second code, after watching the true ending. The games are good, really good actually, but I was not motivated enough to go at them again. Maybe if they get the Link's Awakening treatment...

Also, it doesn't matter which game you start first. Just pick one.

The GameCube port of Majora's Mask is pretty bad indeed. I finished it, but it crashed on me on several occasions, forcing me to redo one day or the other... that was annoying. I hope the NSO version is smoother.
I recently played the 3DS version and it is also quite good. There are some changes I did not like that much, but there were also some I found pretty interesting.

Anyway, I hope you manage to keep on to the game, I see you reached the Great Bay area. I'm curious and interested to share opinions with you about the game and the local stories the game tells when you are done. Make sure to focus on the masks and the little stories you get with them.

It is fine to prioritize Majora's Mask over Tears of the Kingdom.

Totally, and Altus pretty much confirmed that Kotone will never be in P3R too. I really like her OSTs too, sad we're not getting a Reload take on Time or A Way of Life. To be fair, remaking Kotone's route would be a fairly ambitious undertaking, I'm not sure if it would be worth Atlus's time when they could be progressing P6 or remaking P4 instead. Still excited to play Reload one day though, especially the Answer when it releases, since it wasn't on Portable. Also, wow, you've not just beaten Reload, but completed it already?
