Yup, I finally beat Dawn of the New World.

Beautiful game with a lot of ToS fanservice, I loved it! The only thing I didn't like was "no open world" I missed run around the World like in ToS and TotA (my Tales of experiences before this game). Also monster system was a little confused, it seemed cool but I never understood.

I liked No Mans Sky. Yeah, it wasn't as amazing as I hoped it would be and I'm glad I decided to cancel my pre-order of the limited edition, but I'm not upset I bought it either.

It certainly is different to a lot of other space games out there and I had fun exploring different planets, but repetition did set in quick and after seeing the 'ending' I don't have any compulsion to carry on playing as i feel I've already seen all that there is to see.

If you haven't picked it up yet it's definitely worth a go! If it wasn't for the massive amounts of hype that built it up I think people's expectations would have been lower and there'd be a lot less hate for it.

Final Fantasy V is a really good game, especially if you liked the job class system of FFIII. The story is MUCH more coherent than FFIII thankfully, but perhaps not as good a story as FFIV (Honestly, most people would argue that FFIV has the best story of the series). I would of course recommend you play it but I am a bit biased since the Final Fantasy series is my favorite.

On a technical note, if you do choose to grab it I would suggest you either track down the GBA version (which has improved graphics, extra jobs, an additional dungeon) or the Steam version(which I think is just a port of the GBA version). Before I started with the Steam version, I tried the Playstation 1 version and couldn't get through because of a bizarre save glitch. After a while I grabbed the PSN version and the glitch still existed with that. The glitch must have originated with the Playstation version as I understand the original Japanese SNES version is perfect.

Anyways, I would suggest you go for it. And if you choose to continue on with the series after VI, FFV introduces a character that pops up in almost every other Final Fantasy game, even the PS3 games.

By the way, I never had the chance to talk with you about The Last Story since I beat it. You were absolutely right about it being a great game, it's a shame they never got around to making a sequel. An even bigger shame is that I was late to the party and wasn't able to get into the multiplayer aspect. (Although I understand people are able to do it through the Wii homebrew channel?) The story was engaging, the characters very likable, and of course some excellent Uematsu music.

I think what really makes me love this game is that I was genuinely surprised by Dagran's betrayal. It was such a clever plot twist, and it's so rare with older games to have big plot points not spoiled for me by the internet. I'm such a superfan of Final Fantasy games that I pretty much know everything about them, even the ones I haven't beaten For the longest time, I truly thought the General(forgot his name!) would end up being the villain, but I was surprised again! I won't get to it soon, but when I return for the NewGame+, I will certainly look forward to picking up on all the subtle hints of Dagran's true intentions. I thank you for recommending I stay with the game, it was certainly worth it!

Someone mentioned the toothpaste trick to me, so I may try to do that. I would really like to get it resurfaced, but I'm not sure if that's possible with UMDs.

I also explore alot in RPGs, but I got the true ending almost all of the nodes in 42 hours. Radiant Historia is an amazing game and my 5th game of all time. Its a truly special game imo.

Well I dont agree that The Last of Us has the best story in gaming, but Its a great one. It is the main reason to the play the game. Looking forward in playing the remastered version one day.

No no I am replaying Radiant Historia lol. But 90 hours is a long time for that game man, what did you do lol. It took 35 hours to beat the game last time. I have enjoyed every single second of Radiant Historia so far and Its as awesome as I remember it.

Paper Jam was a good game imo, but I wasnt a fan of the papercraft battles and catching all the toads lol. Its my second least favorite Mario RPG, the worst is Sticker Star wich is one of my most hated games ever, in other words I could not stand Sticker Star. But I have not played all the Mario RPGs yet either, I still need to play the first 3 Mario and Luigi games and Super Paper Mario on the Wii.
