On many occasions I have considered finally updating my list of games, and each time I decide it is too much of a bother as the games keep piling up and the task gets progressively more bothersome. I do pop in from time to time to check on something or other from my notes.

Yeah I know it continues, looking forward to more loco Koko and her merry band of mercenaries. I guess I missed it when Valmet's past was talked about before, so I was surprised when it was shown how she was part of FRDF. They even paraded the Finnish military flag very prominently. But yeah, it was a fun detail. And at least the Japanese can pronounce Finnish way better than the English speaking types!

As for Apollon ending, it was good don't get me wrong. It just felt a bit like some details were omitted, which as it turns out was indeed the case. Still a great show, but again I wish it was longer!

That's me, creepily stalking my backloggery peeps.

Jormungand end: Valmet turned out to be Finnish, how weird. Her name is the same as a former Finnish company though, I guess it was a hint. It was quite amusing when she randomly yelled "Hakkaa päälle!" That's not even much of a spoiler, ah whatever.

Apollon end: Really the show peaked at episode 7, and the end felt a tad rushed. I wish it had more episodes. Apparently the anime is basically a condensed version of the manga (I suppose that's often the case though), maybe I'll read that some day.

So I've been checking out those shows we talked about... gosh darn it, I kinda like them all! And suddenly my "now watching" is filled with stuff again, it always happens somehow. Curse your good recommendations!

Sakamichi no Apollon is probably the best of the bunch, classy show with great characters and music and all that. In noitaminA we trust. Except when they air trash like Guilty Crown.
