I know others have already said it, but kudos on the decision with regards to tracking! Having your hobby feel like a chore is the quickest way to burn out and dislike it, so good on you for doing what you needed to keep enjoying gaming! Play stuff because you want to, not out of obligation! Life's too short to do otherwise!

Good choice on the not tracking , I was lucky enough to have said goodbye to so much of my collection my count was low enough to feel manageable (and even then it took me forever lol). Enjoy playing at yo own pace

I made a similar change awhile back and I've gotten so much more enjoyment out of playing games with that new mindset. Too many years spent feeling like a beloved pastime was a chore because I thought I wasn't finishing enough games. Glad you're doing what you gotta to make it enjoyable for you, too.

Some time ago WorldDude was kind enough to nuke my count because I am no longer interested in "beating" my Backloggery, I simply wish to track my games over the years for fun. Much respect to people who finish every game they beat, but having finally been diagnosed with ADHD and seeking treatment, I realized that gaming had started to feel too much like a job and stopped being fun.

I want to get back to the fun part of it, even if it means only beating 5 games in a year.
