The game is the modern-era Diablo, and by Diablo, I mean the first Diablo game, Torchlight has the exact same skeleton for the story: you have an evil guy under the town, close to the very core of the world and you have to go down there. Yes, you go that deep down, to kill him. It's not a surprise to have it like this, as the creators of the Diablo series created Torchlight as well, and they did a good job at it.

Epic continuation of the first Torchlight and a nice modern-era Diablo II, as it happens with the Torchlight series, the game have some "funny" similarities with the same numbered Diablo, having similar places to fight the evil around the world and yes, one of the good guys had to steal the core of the bad guy of Torchlight, corrupting himself in the process. The good Alchemist asks for some asskicking as the Warrior did in Diablo. And one more thing, the game has multiplayer.

First-Person-Action-RPG-Shooter or whatever you call it, Borderlands is some kind of a mixed game. All the best from all the genre it represents, it gives phat lewt while keeps you entertained with big guys to shoot! Good combo!
