I enjoyed what I played of it, but it also didn't really grab me and has remained untouched for a few weeks Progression in the Mario levels seems a bit too slow for my liking, so that probably hasn't helped. Perhaps I should give P&DZ a go to see if that's more fun :P

Anyway I just read your comment and I just want to help you with your question, "Citizens of Earth" is an O.k game at best, it has the mechanic of an rpg but to the lowest knowledge of them.

The Good

-A lot of characters that do feel different in attack methods
-The story can be funny
-A lot of content
-Nice cartoon look

The Bad

-Lots of glitches
-They never explain anything clearly on where to go (which is a basic of RPGs)
-Characters although different in attacks and looks... They don't say anything different, they are as good as silent characters in the story
-Many loading times
-Unlike other RPGs grinding in this game does feel terrible (again due to loading and repetitive and dull music) and is needed

And I haven't played the Toad game so no say in there...

can anyone recommend Citizens of Earth or not? It's 9.99 now, and i played the demo but got stuck, so yeah...i hear glitches are a problem, but it was fun before I got stuck (literally stuck, like between a character and furniture). D'oh! Maybe i'll just go with Toad's game as it's at 27.99 on sale.

Stick with it as it definitely gets easier as you catch more pokemon Mew and Kyogre aren't so bad when you've got a decent team with super effective types

I found with HarmoKnight that it's very trial and error, especially with some of the later stages that just throws everything at you and hopes you figure out what to do in time. The bosses are basically glorified 'simon says' games, and probably the easier stages, so if you're having trouble with the boss in the demo then you probably won't get along with the rest of the game.

I'd recommend you play Rhythm Heaven instead if you haven't already! I feel like the games in the RH series are so much better at teaching you timings and being genuinely fun, and the little story there is in HarmoKnight isn't worth worrying about.

The five pokemon songs in HarmoKnight that you can unlock are pretty good, though :P

It's my first SMT game. It is fun and I would recommend it. It is challenging and some people like that. I just had to take a break from it.

My Harvest Moon experience is about the same as yours. I didn't like the SNES one at all, but I borrowed the N64 game and liked it a fair bit. This is my first Rune Factory game, so I figure it's gotta be fine to jump in wherever. I'm very impressed! It's a lot of fun, very streamlined, doesn't take itself seriously at all, and the combat is slick and to the point... kinda like a mixture of later Ys games and Secret of Mana. It seems to not have random dungeons, like you were asking... it's a field outside town with designed dungeons scattered about. I'm very glad I finally gave the series a shot!

one other note (Shout). what kind of computer specs does one need to play steam at a good quality? and finally, should i hold out on PS4 with the Gaiku streaming backlog with ALL playstation games (1-3) presumably eventually available or get a PS3 with the PSN and play the quality games that exist on it? I'm tending to want to wait till i know more about the backlog of ps4 but i'm tempted to buy a PS3 because of the cheapness of some HD collections and such. Thoughts? shoot them my way.

I know what you mean about supporting games like PT. Besides which, I was actually rather interested in the game, ever since I saw some leaked video that Nintendo was showing to investors back in the day before they had announced the game or its title. Of the three games in Rainfall, this was actually the one that most piqued my interest, even if it's not supposed to be as good as the others.

Fun fact! ZombiU is actually a sequel of sorts to one of Ubisoft's very first games, called Zombi! I dunno anything about Zombi, but in that context, the name is somewhat less bad.

Anyway, it's a rather solid game! It has interesting ideas, and is well-produced within its constraints. I definitely recommend it.

I can only recommend it if your a vary big KH fan, and have played all the others (up to that point) .

Its basically another re-telling of KH1 with no new worlds added (sort of like Chain of Memories). Its fun at times, but comes no where close to the level of fun and/or quality iv come to expect from the series.

I suggest any other Kingdom Hearts game over this one...
