Origins does have a lot of weird glitches, but they announced recently they will fix them so hopefully that update is substantial. What are the mistakes in the gallery? Yeah lots of great art I've never seen before either, definitely have a lot of ideas for a Sonic christmas theme after seeing those cool seasonal calender pinups.

They remastered/remixed the beta music from the PC version, so it actually sounds a little different. Here is a good comparison.

I don't actually like it as much as the original beta music but you could argue it does have more of that Genesis sound, so that's a possibility for what they were going for. None of it tops the MJ music those tracks are just too iconic at this point. I have a bad habit of muting the audio during those so I can play the original music for each act on youtube lol, I have have too much nostalgia for those stages it's overflowing, that specifically was a major part of my childhood. However, I'm fine that they changed it if it meant that S3&K could be a part of this.

Sweet! I am really close to S ranking every mission, I've completed all the games with the true endings but still have a few mission mode challenges that are tough but hopefully I can finish them up today. The whole thing got me into playing Mania again, there's a lot of little things I missed about that game like how Hydro City has stuff from Sonic 1's Labyrinth zone and there's other little nods too that I only noticed after playing the old ones again then going to Mania. (especially from Sonic CD)

I do hope there is some kind of DLC for the game because I would love Sonic 3D Blast, Knuckles Chaotix, and a lot of the obscure titles that were on older collections. My favorite thing about Origins though is easily the museum, I love how you can read every single page for the game manuals and even see the differences between Japan, Europe and America. I never know how incredible Japan's manuals were for the Sonic games, we really missed out on that.

Oh I see you got Sonic Origins on Switch, I've been playing it all week. The mission mode is a lot of fun. What do you think of the new music in Sonic 3? Carnival Night, Ice Cap and Launch Base music got removed since they were made by MJ and replaced. Surprised that it was actually music from the beta stages that they used. They are not terrible imo, but it's hard when we've had all these years of the original music to get used to.

Absolutely! They are the best team, it's an awesome combination. Their triple techs saved me many times in various boss battles. I still end up going to my dream team of Crono, Marle, Frog. That double healing is so useful in these harder end game areas but dealing crazy damage with Twister makes healing pointless half the time.

Those were the best times, man. My wife and I have been reminiscing about that lately too, while playing New Horizons together and thinking about the good times we shared on City Folk.

Totally understandable and I have been in your same situation before, it's no worries. I hope everything works out for you. Animal Crossing is one of those really long term games and I have other friends not getting it til later this year so you better believe I'll still be playing it then.

Thanks buddy! It did come out pretty well. It's going to be a good gaming Christmas, got Link's Awakening and some other games on the way. Also got a Genesis mini early and it's soo cool, nothing like nostalgia to really get into some retro gaming.

Good luck on the Platinum! I really enjoyed working on it back on PS3. For the PS4 version I only Platinum'd the original, but plan to go back and get them all once again.

The DLC definitely looks to add a lot that was missing from the base game of KHIII such as Oathkeeper/Oblivion, Final Fantasy characters, super bosses and playable characters like Roxas and even Kairi. Looks pretty promising!
