Welcome to my Backloggery page! If you've stumbled over here, allow me to greet you. All the games I own (plus a few related curios, like the Game Boy Player) are listed. Additionally, I'm a writer for Source Gaming and share links to my work here. My whole archive can be found over yonder:

In 2019, I finally got my backlog under 100 unfinished games, though last year some hefty reorganizing brought it back well above 200. Current goal: get it under 200 by the end of the year.
Here's my 2024 progress report:

Pikmin 1 + 2 (Switch)
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
Another Code: Recollection (Switch)
Another Code: Recollection (Switch)
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy (Switch)

Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad (360 DL)

Metro: Last Light (360 GoD)
Shovel Knight (Wii U DL)
Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition (XBLA)
Super Mario Maker 2 (Switch)
Shantae: Risky's Revenge (Wii U DL)
Call of Duty: Ghosts (360)
Resident Evil Zero (XO DL)

If you're curious, I generally null games that I'm not interested in playing (a lot of stuff I get for free, cheap, or in bundles falls under here) or if I can't play them for whatever reason.

As you can probably discern, I'm a lifelong Nintendo fan. My preferred genres are platforming, puzzle, and visual novel.
Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is my all time favorite game. An unorthodox choice, but I love what I love. Both of Kyle's adventures,
Another Code: Two Memories /
Trace Memory, and
Chase: Cold Case Investigations ~Distant Memories~ are mastered because I beat 'em without getting stuck or screwing up. Also,
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX for the 360 is mastered because I really was
that good at it in my prime.
My favorite TV shows are
Seinfeld and
Futurama (specifically the original run), and my favorite film is
Halloween (the classic one, not Rob Zombie's dreadful remake or the solid 2018 sequel). I enjoy hamburgers, white chocolate, carbonation, sugar-laced coffee, I believe cherry flavoring can make nearly anything better, and my favorite color is red.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to voice 'em! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
I do enjoy the Banjo games as much as you do, iirc, and DK64 more than you do.
Yet, my NP-List has expanded once again after I modded a new Wii U and PS-Vita I bought, and I am afraid I will be busy with Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Monster Hunter Freedom for the forseeable future. I finished Resident Evil Zero, though, and while I noticed the aspects of it that I like less than Resident Evil Rebirth, I still think it is a good/great game overall.
I'll see how and when I will try the DKL trilogy, to be honest, your words have not really raised my willingness to delve there... but, once again, I'll see about it when the time comes, for now, I have my hands filled with games (and other stuff, as well).
I also hope for a new BK at some point in the future, but for now Rare is all-in with Sea of Thieves, and will probably be busy for quite a while still. I don't see them making a new BK game anytime soon, but maybe Microsoft will show mercy and do a collaboration with some 1st or 2nd party Nintendo studio in the near future.... I mean, X-Box is dead, long live X-Box Game Pass, right?
Also, a new Nuts&Bolts is already on the market: Tears of the Kingdom. And it is waaaay better, in all regards! =)
I see you are replaying Banjo-Kazooie on NSO. Is the emulation good? =) Did they use the XBLA version or is it the N64 original?
Also, you reached RE5, so I assume you played RE4? How did you like it? How are you liking RE5? No spoilers, please, just an opinion =)
BTW: I saw the review for the new Endless Ocean... damn, it looks grim...
