☆★★★★ SHB > HW > EW, after sleeping on it. Endwalker is fundamentally at a disadvantage versus those (largely self-contained) chapters simply because they are trying to pull in too many threads. I'm going to try to keep this spoiler free but: if you're a fan of FFXIV you're going to love the fanservice and call backs here. I enjoyed that. Despite this, I have some real problems with the plot. It seems pulled out of asses / contrived / deus ex machina and fails to be internally consistent.

Been playing a lot of this lately. Very engrossing for a gatcha game. Good story. (although it's gone a little off the rails by the end of Book 1)

Haha, good job resisting. It sure is nice to stop buying games so you can actually play them. I should try that sometime, seems like a cool idea.

Good luck with your Sil'dihn Savage prog, by the way. I remember I was working through that with some friends back when it came out. It was really fun to figure out the fights, but we only made it up to the first few mechanics of the second boss before I got burned out on XIV. Hopefully your experience with it goes further than mine did.

Nier: Automata is one of my favorite games! Hope you enjoy it.

I'd also recommend Nier: Gestalt if you haven't played it. I think I liked it even more!

I started it! On Exodus, as it was a preferred server.

Got to say, as far as MMO's go it's a tad overwhelming with all the stuff it throws at you.

The main story has been interesting. Got every job I can as of now, level 21 Maurader, 20 Arcanist, and 17 Bard. Been doing the crafting jobs off and on. With all the items, weapons, and gear it seems like half inventory management game!

But overall it's been really fun, just waiting to get level 50 to get RDM!
