So for once, we have direct sequels in place of a simple remake. These sequels to B&W do some good: There are plenty new areas, and you don't progress through old ones in the same order (revisiting old areas that are postgame gives a nice nostalgic feeling), some gyms are replaced, and there are different Pokemon to encounter. Issues, though, lie in heavy-handed dialogue, the plot is less present and not as exciting as before, and the game is generally less challenging than its predecessors.

We also finally got our giant rabbit; his name is Surtur and his an ASSHOLE. I was in the bath, shaving my legs one night, and it sounded like someone was breaking into the house. I get out, and he has managed to open the closet door, burrow all the way in, and DRAG A FUCKING CAN OF HOUSE PAINT INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE PANTRY FLOOR. He's just chillin' there, like, "What's up?" Your nerve, you asshole bunny!
