Obviously, I already own a hardcover copy of the book, and for a month too XD. It's nice so far. I have to agree on the Nuts and Bolts listing and other related games. Yes, I also noticed they only mentioned not all of a good series of games like DKC. But at least it gives me something to read through during spare time.

Basically, one of my ideas when purchasing the book was wanting to try what you did with that [1001] feature of yours, but I doubt I would get pretty far considering all the systems I don't have which the book features (PSP, etc.). I can at least see how much I have played throughout my life (It looks like I won't be able to play all of them before I die )

Just dropping by again to say I have recently ordered that 1001 Video Games book you have showcased on your backlog. Expecting to get it sometime next week! I was intending to come up with a checklist of games once I read through.

In the meantime, what's your opinion on the book overall? I found it at my school library about five years ago and liked it. But I barely remember most of it. So this is a good opportunity to pick it up for myself. (My public library doesn't seem to have it in, or at least when I examine its proper shelf)
